Yoga poses to help with long hours sitting

We may have traded the long-haul flights for long hours working in front of a computer. Whichever is the case, taking care of our body still has the same priority. We want to guide you on how to stretch it before and after, to help keep it happier.

Marjaryasana and Bitilasana - Cat and cow

The entire spinal column is stretched. This pose straightens the back and corrects bad posture. It's ideal for back pain, provides mobility and a feeling of well-being.

Parsva Urdhva Hastasana - Upward Salute Side Bend Pose

This asana brings a great balance to the body and improves the tone on the leg muscles. It increases the flexibility of the upper body, focus, stability and concentration. Also, it's an excellent pose to practice before meditation.

Adho Mukha Svanasana - Downward facing dog

It improves posture and blood circulation in the whole body. It also helps us strengthen our core, arms and legs. It increases the oxygen in our body, bringing calm and harmony.

Bhujangasana - Cobra pose

Cobra Pose opens the heart zone, which is very good for stress reduction and anxiety relief. Roll your shoulders up and back, as you push your chest forward to fully open the rib cage in the hold. It strengthens the spine, chest, lungs, shoulders, and abdomen.

Vrksasana - Tree pose

A significant benefit of this yoga asana is that it improves the balance by enhancing the focus and concentration. The steadiness helps calm our mind and relax the central nervous system. It's also beneficial to stay active and healthy with other physical activities, where a right balance and a strong core are essential.

Baddha Konasana - Butterfly pose

Most headaches are stress-induced, and this asana releases the tension of the neck and head. It relaxes the shoulders and opens the chest, perfect for the end of a tiring day. Try to practice it, paying attention to your breathing, and you will feel how it releases anxiety and achieves tranquillity.

Balasana- Child pose

Resting our forehead on the mat with our eyes closed, we lean our body forward, which sends signals to the nervous system, promoting a feeling of calm and security. We also release all tensions and fatigue from the body, making us relax and calm. It stimulates blood circulation, giving us a feeling of general well-being. It's perfect after a strong asana because it relaxes the whole body and balances the mind, charging us with energy.
