In fact, it's a prerequisite for healthy relationships because when you love yourself you are less likely to accept mistreatment or settle for less than you deserve in a relationship. When you're comfortable loving yourself first, you're able to set boundaries and make decisions that are in your best interest. Additionally, you'll be more confident and secure, which will attract people who will be drawn to your self-assurance.

The key to a perfect solo date is to find activities that you enjoy and that make you feel good about yourself. This can be anything from going to the gym to watching your favorite TV show. The most important thing is to make sure that those types of activities make you happy. Here are seven ideas for a perfect solo date:

Almost every woman likes shopping, whether you're looking to buy something specific or just browsing, this is a great way to get out of the house and treat yourself to something new.
